In this three part anthology horror film, an overzealous reporter hunts for an otherworldly killer, an entrapped couple duels with a malevolent biotechnology and a recovering addict struggles to escape a cadaverous kidnapper. Will these participants, all selected by a mysterious figure, be able to overcome the monstrosities that have manifested in their lives before it’s too late?
Mizan Media Productions has optioned the rights to Skin Folk, the award-winning, short story collection based on Caribbean folktales, by writer Nalo Hopkinson.
M. Asli Dukan is attached to write and direct. Trevite Willis of Southern Fried Filmworks has joined as producer. The project is currently in development.
